Life with Covid-19

The kids and I have been stuck home for 2 months now. This new way of living has taught us a lot. I have not seen the older children who live in their respective foster families and there are no more visits allowed to the orphanage.

The younger kids at the orphanage have learned to depend on each other and have almost stopped talking about school friends. I am so glad they get along and there is plenty of love in the air.

Its now all about washing hands and keeping all surfaces bleach-cleaned. The kids have learned the new routine and are happy to roll on the floor after it’s been bleach-cleaned.

Amazingly, since they have been out of school, the kids have been in perfect health. No more colds, coughs or runny noses. Thank you God!

Most of the burden is now on me to keep the children occupied and teaching them school lessons for 4 different age levels; then I have to get down on my knees to pray that God will continue providing for us, and protecting us from this virus.

Mbone!
