Back to Cameroon

I am back in Yaounde after a busy 2 and half month stay in Atlanta.

Our first annual fundraiser was a great first event!  Even though we didn’t reach our goal of raising $20 Thousand, we are still counting on you to continue supporting our work.  The event was mostly to make you aware of what our work consists of, but the need for your support continues throughout the year. We are still $14 Thousand short to continue maintaining our orphanage and other expenses this year, as well as starting on other project.

I am back again to real life, my new real life!  Life with those whose lives are doomed to fail if we don’t lend a hand.  Those children, widows and sick that are now counting so much on us.

We are doing our best at Mbone Foundation and are praying everyday for the Lord’s guidance in accomplishing our mission of alleviating the lives of the ones He has sent and continues to send to us.

I am so proud of Mother Rose for holding it down while I was away!

I am proud of the kids who have worked hard in school.  They were all happy to show us their report cards last week after school was let out for vacation.  They were all promoted to a higher grade. They know that their education is very important to us.  I can see their improvement since their involvement with Mbone Foundation! We are just proud of them!

Tuitions need to be paid in September.  Some will be higher next year due to their promotion.  We are counting on you to join us in the effort to see these children attend school.

There are a few sad cases that we are handling with Social Services and maybe those children will move in with us soon.  We are also praying that the Lord will send other care givers that will work with us to provide those children a safe and organized home.

More soon…

  1. May the Lord Jesus, the embodiment of God’s love for all sinners, receive your love with thanksgiving for all He has done for us. Happy Valentine’s Day to all of you at Mbone!
